PlugShare vs Elektriauto.ee — when to use which?
Both help you find EV chargers. PlugShare is a global community map; Elektriauto.ee is Estonia-focused with models, grants and stats. Honest “when to use which” below.
Use Elektriauto.ee when you
- need an Estonia/Baltics overview with city pages (Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu…)
- want charging tied to model specs, VIN lookup or KIK grants
- want a quick web map without a separate app account
Use PlugShare (or a network app) when you
- need live user ratings, photos and “does it work?” comments
- drive outside our map focus or prefer a mobile app
- track sessions in Alexela, Enefit Volt or other operator apps
