| The road can feed the car. The road infratructure can be reconfigured to charge the car battery. This can be done first in cities on traffic stops with many alternative technologies like induction (MIT-witricity project) or with aimed laser + high temperature solar panel combination. The charge can be collected with existing mobile telephony networks. When the battery is loaded while on road the car can run longer with smaller battery. The electricity is allready there for traffic lights etc. we just need to beam it to the battery and collect charge. We know how to do both. |

Safety dictates that control of each of the four wheels - as in stability controls - an electric motor on each of the four wheels will provide several advantages; stability control, reduction of weight through removal of differentials, gearbox and drive shafts, improving efficiency, safety, performance and the cost of extra smaller motors may not be that great. |
