Is conversion into electric worth doing counting on a fact it is quite expensive?

Hi, I'm just starting out with EV. And I am surprised at reading here that the costs of making an EV conversion is high.

cost of conversion with all materials and 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries is 9799€. With car (Smart) it will be about 11999€.

Estimated conversion cost of typical car (Corolla, Avensis) is about 6000 euro + battery cost Batteries LiFePO4 (144V, 100Ah - range about 100km) for 10.000 euro, LiFePO4 (144V, 200Ah - range about 200km) for 18.000 euro Car: Toyota Corolla 2005 for 8000 euro

The road infratructure can be reconfigured to charge the car battery. This can be done first in cities on traffic stops with many alternative technologies like induction (MIT-witricity project) or with aimed laser + high temperature solar panel combination. The charge can be collected with existing mobile telephony networks. When the battery is loaded while on road the car can run longer with smaller battery. The electricity is allready there for traffic lights etc. we just need to beam it to the battery and collect charge. We know how to do both.
